We get a fair share of questions from our readers and in the wake of the new iPods we received a few preguntas somewhere along the lines of, “Great, new stuff, but what do I do with my existing iPod?” Sometimes the best satisfaction comes from taking something you already have and breathing new life into it. So, in the wake of the tidal wave of new iPods we thought it fitting to refer you to a piece of gear that you might know about. It's funny, while I love feminine details, I'm very really ladylike. My ruffles tend to veer towards deconstructed, and looking put together feels a little "ladies who lunch" to me. But I had this beautiful dress by Christian Francis Roth that was tailored and classic looking, yet color-wise had a bit of edge. I believe my fianc's exact words were, "That dress is screaming at me from behind a veil." And I knew it would be a perfect start to a look that would exemplify fall's trend of ladylike grace!I paired the dress with a cardigan with pearl buttons, ohmygosh I can't believe I even own that! It reminds me a little of Eloise at the Plaza ;) A belt on top, because a lady always shows off her figure, and then some close to kitten heels. They're probably two inches, which isn't tall but I maintain a kitten heel much be less than that! This is a very versatile product as I can see how it could be used as a nursing cover, although I have not tried it yet since I just read that suggestion today! Ok, I just tried it and it works for nursing too. The Kikou is made of fabric heavy enough that it won’t slip off while breastfeeding, but light enough that it will still work as a summer nursing cover and not be too warm. Although, I can see how the lining may cause a nursing mother to perspire more in the summer heat.
